It’s not just about his cultish base.

Trump just probably tanked the campaign of Pennsylvania’s Republican Senate candidate, Dave McCormick, at a rally in Reading, PA yesterday. He rudely told McCormick as he brought him on stage that “Nobody wants to hear you” and gave him about two minutes to address the crowd.

Um. Isn’t he supposed to be promoting his fellow candidates in their own home states? Back in August at a rally in Harrisburg, he didn’t even know which office McCormick was running for, calling him the “future governor”!

Incidences like this must cause Mitch McConnell to lie awake at night worrying about his party’s ability to take back the Senate. I have no sympathy whatsoever.
