Is This Why Harris Wouldn’t Go on Joe Rogan’s Show?

Rogan gives credence to a noted antisemitic nutjob’s wild conspiracy theories while the nutjob’s house burns down.

Unless sociologists or political analysts decide someday to study the influence of the “manosphere” ecosystem on the 2024 election, we may never know how much of an impact Joe Rogan’s endorsement of Donald Trump had. You wouldn’t know that, though, by the post-election criticisms of the Harris campaign that flew fast and furiously in the immediate aftermath. There was so much hand-wringing about what a mistake it was for Harris not to court young, low-information GenZ Rogan fans.

The campaign’s official reason for her failure to appear was a scheduling conflict. It is true that Rogan refused to interview her outside his own studio. In the interview below, a Harris rep asks:

“What would be the message in the Joe Rogan interview that would appeal to what is probably a young, male audience?”

In other words, would they have even cared what Harris represented with a host who’s been so hostile to the interests of non-white, non-straight, non-male Americans?

The campaign thought women would carry the election, since we are 52 percent of the voting population. What they didn’t predict, however, was how many white women would continue to vote against…
