Is America Really This Mean and Stupid?
Aren’t we better than this?
Yet another “conservative” has generated outrage by piling on the bullying of Tim Walz’s son Gus.
I feel I must bring up what’s happening to Gus again because it’s really been bothering me. I have loved ones who are neurodivergent, but that’s not even the worst part of all this. The worst part is that the pond scum who’ve been bullying him on social media are getting away with pretending they had no idea he was neurodivergent and basing their apologies on that.
It doesn’t even matter whether he’s autistic (she assumed he was with no evidence, then couldn’t even spell the word properly) or has ADHD or a learning disorder; she still should have left him alone.
For me, it’s more about the pattern of disgusting behavior the right exhibits attacking any target they choose with no concern over the ethics or even the optics of attacking minors. Remember how, for a while, they wouldn’t stop attacking the kids who survived the Parkland shooting, especially the activists?
